This conference is being held at Rhondda Heritage Park, Trehafod, Wales, from 21st to 22nd March 2013.
The focus is on how far small scale energy projects managed and/or owned by local communities might provide a longer term economic development opportunity. They are particularly interested to examine the scope for community ownership of energy resources, the opportunities available with respect to specific energy technologies, and how communities can be empowered to engage with renewable energy technologies as well as the soft and hard outcomes that result from local ownership and/or management of energy resources and infrastructure.
There is no fee for attending the workshop.
