Brighton Energy Coop

Brighton Energy Coop own and manage large solar installations at three locations in the Brighton area.

The largest is at Hove Enterprise Centre within Shoreham Port. Here they have more than 350 panels spread over seven roofs. The majority of roofs face south, with one facing east and another west.

Each roof also has slightly different pitches and orientations, but all are calculated to operate with a high efficiency. Indeed, as of mid November 2012 their system here is operating more than 10% above our expectations.
